Welcome to Esope Network
ESOPE is a network of economists, socio-political economists, geographers. [1]
ESOPE gathers researches on academic works concerning LDC countries, with a special attention given to the way the dynamic paths of development interact with the Globalization of economies and to the contradictions and the new challenges it brings with it.
ESOPE’s aim is to explore the political, economic and social developments in the emerging countries and to discuss scholarly the significance and the consistency of the notion of “emerging countries”. The members have also for ambition to promote works on the impact of globalisation on firms, labor market, attractiveness and economic institutions in emerging countries.
To promote and disseminate this research they organise regularly, workshop, seminars and conferences (see: list of events). Working papers are also available online.
